In October 1996, a young filmmaker, in search of his father,

landed on a 14,000-acre ranch in southern Nevada.

Armed with a camcorder, he managed to shoot on videotape

the murder of Richard Finlay, the lead negotiator for

a telecommunications deal.

The young filmmaker is still at large.
